After working with a couple of small publications, a friend and I set off for a week in Spain. The idea was to fly to Barcelona and rent a car big enough to sleep in as we made our way toward Pamplona. After being robbed, stopped by police twice, and sleeping four nights in a car not much larger than a golf cart, I made it back to the U.S. with a decent travel article.
Since then I’ve produced articles and essays from places such as Germany, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru.
